did you know??

DID YOU KNOW??!

.

That Suzanna Kennedy Photography offers AT COST (that means that what I pay, you pay.  No mark up, nothing) professional (aka gorrrrrrgeous) prints and canvas?

.

Why you ask?  Because I really want you to print your images, and I want them to look good!  There are tons of arguments for printing your images…you pay a lot for those images, why leave them on a computer?…what if your computer crashes?…what if your hard drives crash?…what if you lose your USB?  But my biggest argument is that it makes your sweet babies feel special.

.

If you’ve ever been in my home, you have seen my huge wall of pictures with all of our family (siblings, parents, nieces and nephews, pups).  Each of my kidlets have their own collages in their bedrooms, and my fridge is usually covered in smiling faces.  I had gotten a bit backlogged in my printing, so I made a big order a couple of weeks ago.  New prints of each of my kids, updated prints of a few of my nieces and nephews, new family pictures, and even one of the pup.  I opened the box, started pulling out the pictures, and my three year old freaked.  She was EXCITED!  ‘Look Mommy, it’s me!’  ‘Mommy!  it’s you and Daddy!’  Each print I pulled out, she got more and more excited.  And when I started putting them in their frames on the walls?  Even more excited.  Like got-in-trouble-for-jumping-on-the-new-couches excited.  The huge wood print shown below (which by the way is uh-mazing), is hanging on the way up our stairs.  Every time I bring our 6 month old down from his nap, he sees it, and smiles, and does a little happy kick dance in my arms.

.

Seeing themselves in print makes them happy.  It lets them know, even subconsciously that they matter.

.

Because ‘you is kind.  you is smart.  you is important’ – Abilene Clark, ‘the Help’

.

They’re important.  So print those images.

I’ll just…leave these here. Because I have spent half the day trying to come up with the perfect sentiment to go with these photos, and I just don’t think one exists.
It's been 84 years since I last posted anything on Social Media...

Just kidding, it's only been forever. Some of you may know that I accidentally fell into the world of Sports Photography last year. Since then, I've been busy photographing all the sports, and I've had no time for my usual Newborns and Families. And my gosh have I MISSED this!

Thank you to one of the best families I know for coming along for a short notice session. ❤

GIVEAWAY!
For anyone who knows me outside of the Studio, you likely know that hockey has always been a massive part of my life. When I was a young girl, playing girls hockey like my daughter is now, I had an amazing coach who helped me become who I am today, in more ways than one. I remember having the opportunity to go watch the Canadian Women's Olympic team play, skate with some of the players, and see that hockey isn't just a boy's sport. Seeing the huge strides that Women's hockey is taking these days and seeing my daughter experience and love the game makes my heart so happy! And now I have the opportunity to take my daughter to watch today's Female Greats, just like I did. And yours!

I'm so excited to be able to give away a set of FOUR tickets to the December 16th Canada vs. USA Women's Rivalry Series game, plus one Name in Lights Mini Session with me!

This Giveaway is open to Local female hockey players and their families only.
