notes about newborn portrait sessions
Newborn Portrait Sessions are my absolute favourite. During your session, I'll take my time to perfectly pose your new baby in a relaxed environment for the perfect sleepy photos. All sessions are baby led, which means that if your babe wants to eat, they get to eat. If they want to see the world, they get to see the world until they are ready for sleep again. If they don't like a particular pose, we move on to a different one. The session will go as quickly or as slowly as your baby wants.
All Newborn Portrait Sessions take place on a weekday, starting at either 10am or 12pm depending on the package you choose. My studio is located just off our home in Corunna, Ontario. I book based on due dates, so worry not about what day your little makes their arrival. I count on some babes coming early or late, and I account for that in my monthly scheduling limits. Newborns are unpredictable, so we 'go with the flow' when scheduling. Because of this, I do accept very few bookings per month. All new bookings require a 50% non-refundable booking fee to be secured in my calendar. Outstanding payment is due one week prior to your session. Payment plans are always available.
Models needed! Now that the website is updated 👀 I am looking for some athletes age 9-14 in sports that are currently under-or not at all represented on the website: football, soccer, lacrosse, dance, cheer, rugby, basketball, you name it! I will be hosting a morning of Model Sessions on Saturday, April 25th. Individual Athletes, plus one group of 3-4 athletes. Free photos included! Link to apply in Bio.

If you asked me ten years ago, this is a post that I absolutely, adamantly, would never ever write. Full stop. But seasons change, forks in the roads come, and here I am, ending the year 2025 and my career as a newborn photographer in one fell swoop. I am *not* putting my camera down altogether, just making official what has been for at least the past year: come the strike of midnight, my newborn journey est fini. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their tiny newborns. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. And to end, I leave you with a tiny amount of behind the scenes that I took and never posted, because I suck at social media. That is a story I just can’t seem to finish.
