Get to know me a little better
Hi! I’m Suzanna, a Newborn and Family Qualified Photographer with APNPI (Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International) in Lambton County, Ontario. It’s so nice to meet you, thanks for stopping by!
I'm Mom to two amazing kiddos, and watching them grow has been the most amazing experience. Before my daughter, I thought I had life all figured out. Then I was handed this little pink, wriggling newborn, and I knew in that instant that I was so wrong. My life would never be the same. In the blink of an eye, that tiny babe started smiling, then giggling, then sitting, then she took her first steps and my life ran away. Her firsts were also my firsts, and I had a front row seat to watch her grow into an amazing young lady. Then her brother came along, and all of those firsts suddenly meant something different. His firsts were also my last firsts. I realized just how fast those first five years go by, and just how much they change.

Every once in a while, I go down the rabbit hole of baby photos. As I Look through each one, I'm amazed by how much I've already forgotten. The ultra cheesy smile with scrunched up nose and only two teeth was my son's go-to when he was two. My daughter's first whale spout when she was almost 2, and finally had three hairs long enough to fit in an elastic.
I realized just how important these photos are to remind me of all of the things I swore I'd never forget.
Seeing my babies faces in all of their stages hanging all around my home makes it just that. A home. And I thank God every day that I get to do something I love, and something that brings so much joy to so many people.

These are a few of my favorite things ...
familyFamily is my number one. Always and forever. My littles, my love, my parents, my siblings, and nieces and nephews. I come from a big family, and I wouldn't change it for the world. They make me who I am today.
readingYou may not have noticed, but my website is kind of designed like a book. On top of a love for losing myself in a good book, I can also be a bit of a nerd.
the outdoorsI grew up on a farm, and someday I'll be back. For now, I'll make do visiting the horses, bison, chickens and cows at my siblings' farms.
sportsSports were a huge part of my life growing up, specifically hockey. Now, I'm a coach and trainer to my own little players, and learning a whole new sport in baseball. If you need me, check the arena or diamonds first.
If you asked me ten years ago, this is a post that I absolutely, adamantly, would never ever write. Full stop. But seasons change, forks in the roads come, and here I am, ending the year 2025 and my career as a newborn photographer in one fell swoop. I am *not* putting my camera down altogether, just making official what has been for at least the past year: come the strike of midnight, my newborn journey est fini. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their tiny newborns. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. And to end, I leave you with a tiny amount of behind the scenes that I took and never posted, because I suck at social media. That is a story I just can’t seem to finish.

It`s been 84 years since I last posted anything on Social Media...
Just kidding, it`s only been forever. Some of you may know that I accidentally fell into the world of Sports Photography last year. Since then, I`ve been busy photographing all the sports, and I`ve had no time for my usual Newborns and Families. And my gosh have I MISSED this!
